Boost in office whitening contains a mix of Potassium nitrate which reduces the risk of sensitivity as well as making your teeth stronger and more resistant to Cavities.

There are many causes of tooth discoloration. The most common causes of tooth discoloration are aging and consumption of tooth staining substances. Coffee, tea and Tobacco are three of the most common staining agents.

Although teeth whitening can be done on almost everyone, treatment may not be as effective for some as it is for others.

Boost Whitening is done at one of our locations in one to two hours. Adult Prophylaxis or having your teeth cleaned before the procedure is highly recommended to get the BEST results! Once it has been determined you are a good candidate for teeth whitening, we can get started as soon as you are ready.

At your whitening appointment, cheek retractors will be placed in your mouth allowing us to isolate the teeth we want to whiten. From there a gel will be placed on your gums to protect them from the whitening solution. This gel will be cured with a light for 10-15 seconds. The whitening solution will be placed on your teeth for 15 minute sessions. Most people do three 15 minute sessions, but you may go up to 6 sessions if you want!

With In-office whitening some people experience temporary increased tooth sensitivity to cold. In most cases, this sensitivity lasts approximately 24 hours. Before you leave the office we will give you a fluoride rinse to help with this, along with a series of instructions to get the best results. You will also be given a set of trays to do any touch up whitening you may need.
